About This Project

PPN is a fabulous organization founded as Bookbuilders West in 1969, the organization was rechartered as PPN in 2012 to reflect the changing nature of long-form content publishing and to embrace all the partnerships that exist within our industry.

PPN is all about the written word which is near and dear to my heart. They support events that expand and connect the literary pulse of the Bay Area. A few examples are the Letterform Archive, the Women’s National Book Association, The International Printing Museum, and more.

We worked as a team, primarily myself and VP David Zielonka to create a refreshed brand and website integrating new software for membership management (MS Word previously), Freelance Directory, Newsletter, Opt In, Events Calendar, and Job Board. A very complex project requiring back-end code infusions in WordPress running on Divi. Once the team was trained-up with video delivery, they are now running smoothly with a refreshed brand and ease of business management. So now they can focus on what’s important, the literary heart of the Bay Area.

Kind words

“The person responsible for our fabulous new site is Niya C Sisk of Activate Vision. Her primary goal, programming and developing a complex site, led as well to a clean and sophisticated design. We very much appreciate her being a tireless champion for us with the various plug-in developers with whom she worked.”

—David Zielonka, PPN board vice president Network, Bay Area California
